Handball is an Olympic sport since the 1972 Summer Olympics and the male mode Olímpcios 1976 Montreal Games in female form.
Like basketball is played indoors for 16 days. This competition the dispute 12 men ’s teams and 10 women. In court there are 7 players including the goalkeeper. The top athletes participation is 330, 180 male and 150 female.

The handball is a game played by two teams track whose purpose is to send the ball to the opposite goal, throwing with one hand from outside the boundary line area door.
